When we went to Fahy Travel, we knew we wanted to get married abroad and we knew we would like a cruise, but were completely new to the idea, and the planning and preperation involved. Two friends, how had both had their honeymoons on cruises and had booked with Caroline O Toole recommended her so highly, we felt in safe hands from the start.
Caroline was incredible, available 24/7 via email and phone as well as many drop-ins! Everyone of our 88 guests relayed their ease in dealing with her and her flexibility and approachability, as well as any other staff they encountered in Fahy Travel.
We decided on MSC Preziosa, as my husband’s brother had travelled aboard the ship a year previously. The ship was incredible. We boarded with unbelievable ease – we flew through the check-in and were on board within 5minutes. Likewise, disembarking was so organised and punctual and stress free. Our cabin was lovely, and our cabin-attendant was extremely helpful and courteous – making a big fuss the day of the wedding and the following day also. Upon arrival a bottle of champagne and a fruit bowl was delivered to our cabin which was a lovely touch. The dining experience was incredible – the variety and quantity of food and drinks was incredible and everyone thoroughly enjoyed dinner in the dining room each evening. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough to make everyone’s stay memorable and comfortable.
The Safari Lounge was amazing – balloons, ribbons, flowers, red carpet and officers in all their finery! It added such a sense of occasion to the ceremony. The officer who performed the ceremony was amazing and even said a few words in Irish at the end which was lovely. The music we had chosen was played over the sound system which was great, as was the cake and champagne for all the guests. I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking if getting married onboard a cruise, maybe just be aware that plans may slightly change when you board the ship!
Overall, it was a fantastic, special and memorable week and we will definitely cruise very soon again!

From the moment I met Fiona in Fahy Travel in March 2017 I knew she wouldn’t disappoint me. She made organizing our wedding a complete dream. We knew we wanted to get married in Malta but also wanted to go on a cruise and she recommend “MSC Seaview”. This ship was amazing!!! The detailing that had gone into everything was outstanding. Fiona couldn’t do enough for us and had everything organized on the ship for us in regards to the wedding day. All staff on board the ship were incredible and so friendly.
We certainly had the time of our lives and memories to last us a lifetime. Everything was amazing for us and our 90 guests who travelled with us

We popped into Fahy Travel one day to enquiry about getting married abroad just the 2 of us, we didn’t want any fuss or anything and had Spain or Portugal in mind. Caroline & Fiona suggested a cruise – we never dreamed about going on a cruise never mind get married on board. The following week we were so excited we paid our deposit on a fantastic Mediterranean cruise and had our wedding on board while the ship was docked in Naples. It was 1/3 of the cost of getting married in Europe and we had an amazing cruise honeymoon. We booked the gold package so we had our wedding cake, champagne, photos & flowers, everything we needed. The captain performed the ceremony with his officers as our witnesses – it was magical and so relaxed and stress free. Our photos are stunning and we will never forget our wedding day and our honeymoon, the ship (MSC Divina) was out of this world, had everything onboard. I would highly recommend doing this – the staff really looked after us on board the day of the wedding, it was just perfection
